Tubac Festival & Luminaria Lights – Tubac, AZ

Spanish colonists brought luminarias to Arizona and they have become a famous Southwestern holiday tradition. Stores sell plastic string simulations, but a real luminaria is a lighted candle perched inside a bag of sand. At Tubac’s Festival and Luminaria Lights display, the streets and stores are aglow from hundreds of real luminarias. Shops and galleries stay open late, and homemade food, homespun music, and Santa add to a festive holiday atmosphere.
